A little about me:
I have three children...two sons and one daughter. I have two beautiful grandsons! I have recently retired from my job so that I can take care of my grandchildren while their parents work. My husband and I love spending time in the mountains cruising around on his bike. My youngest child left for BC on July 7th. I am so proud of him...but I am sure missing him right now.

    Hi Debra!  My son also reported to BC on 7/7 with a contract for Diver.  Perhaps our boys will get to know one another. It is my understanding that they will remain in GL for predive, then on to PC, Fl. Not sure about your experience, each day gets better.  I have yet to hear anything from him, but got "the box" on Tuesday.  I hope every day that "the form letter" will arrive so I can mail the letters I have been writing each morning! :-)  I am so glad to at least have N4M and am hoping that 9/1 is "the day"!    He is my oldest and has dreamed of doing this for as long as I can remember.  I heard from a friend who's sone went thru BC in April that it was harder on her than it was on her son.  They are learning so much and will have some fun experiences.  Just really hard not to have him home.  Thinking of you & all the other moms in our shoes.  Have a GREAT day and hope we hear from our boys soon!

    I am soooo jealous that you got mail today! LOL I am glad for you!!! Our mailman does not come until 5pm so I am more hopeful then ever that I'll see a letter!!!! Our SR's are in the same ship and division! Here is hoping your son rubbed off on my son and wrote us a letter too....he's not big on writing unless it involves texting!!! Congrats!!
