Thank you for adding as a friend. I have alot to learn. I love this site.. My son just left for bc and I keep expecting him to say Mom, I'm hungry..Fix me something. But, I dont hear that or anything else.

It's really sad.. But, if I start feeling that way, I just get on here and talk t moms. I feel better after that.

    Thank you being here,

    Kelly

Thanks so much for the encouragement.  Life changes a lot when your offspring sets sail and gets married and moves to a different coast.  Miss him alot!

Go Navy!  Congrats on your sons too!

Hey there.  I was surprised by your friend request.  We must have something in common, please tell me, tell me do.  :)
  • girlsyk01

Oh cool!  I am still trying to figure this site out.  I usually just go to my groups and look at posts there.  Who is the sailor in the picture above?
  • girlsyk01

I think the pic I was talking about was one of your son at graduation with another sailor.  The sailor in that picture looked like a sailor who was friends with my sailor in boot camp, Garcia?
  • Jo1

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your blog!  You have a talent for writing. :)

I would love one of your necklaces. Do you want me to send a check, and if so, where? Or credit card? Thanks for getting back to me.
  • AmyTX

You did a great job with your blog post about your son!  My son left the 21st for boot camp but his flight got delayed a day in Memphis due to bad weather.  He is a boot camp now and he seems positive about it all.  I hope you and your son have a great experience with this, too.  Navy4moms has alot of great info. and there is a navy4dads site that is great also. (my husband just found it) Best of luck to you!

    Hi Ladies,

I just found out that our son is in Ship 7 Div 327 too!! I've been looking for "our group", I assume this is it? I got the information from his recruiter, hoping the form letter is in the mail today. So excited to chat with everyone in our division, we're from Northern California by the way. He went to BC signed up as an AEFT FC unless something changes in boot.

Looking forward to our time together,

    Cheryl (Andy's mom)
