Hi! I wonder if my son might be a week early - he arrived at GL on the 23rd, although I didn't get a call until 2:50am on the 24th! When did your letter arrive? Glad that you have a PIR date now, and it's sooner!!
I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!! We are a close, friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor. I see you are brand new to N4Ms and your daughter is in boot camp now? Please feel free to jump in and join our chats. You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life. We are all in different phases of our daughters Naval careers and we are always there for each other!!! I am also an Ohio mom. Glad to see you joined that group as well. Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!
I bet our girls have connected. Well as much as they can being in the same div. Im so glad to get to connect with you and keep up with as much as we can as the girls navigate thru the millitary. I think we have alot of the same thoughts and feelings about our daughters making this step. Its nice not to be alone in this. Please look me up on fb. My email is flight911er@aol.com I havent been able to link my blackberry with navy moms yet so its hard to respond quickly to this site like I am able to with fb msgs. I would love to connect with you there as well. Yes, Morgan cut her beautiful long hair and donated it to locks of love. Well actually I still have the hair. I just havent brought myself to part with it yes. I know silly, its just hair but Im holding onto everything of hears at the moment and until my heart feels a little better about all this im going to just keep on holding on. Hope your day was a little better than the last. I cant wait to get to know you more. Kimberly
