I was a Navy spouse for ten years (he got out of the Navy, I didn't get rid of him. :) ) My son will be leaving for recruit training in August of 2011. He is CTI.

We are actually in Illinois, about three and half hours away from Great Lakes, although it could be a million miles away just now. We have a few friends in Virginia from our navy days although we were never stationed there, in fact one of my very good friends is coming for my daughters PIR from there.
