Welcome!!! Getting used to Navy life is tough on us moms. You've come to the right place. Best place in the world for info, to brag, to vent, to whatever. The moms/wives/girlfriends/fiancees are great and if they don't have the answer, somebody will jump in and find out!
Hi. I"m an SIU-C grad., and will be down your way for a quick wedding reception next week. Hang in there--A school will get better as she phases up.
Hi and Welcome.
We are happy to have you on the Navy for Moms site. You are invited to join either the Illinois or Missouri family page as listed below. It is a great way to find families in your area and even help plan meet and greets. We also have some packing parties for our troops overseas getting together.
Looking forward to hearing from you in one of our groups!
Be sure and let me know if you have any questions!
PS. Feel free to cruise my page and see if there are any other groups that interest you. One of my passions is supporting our deployed troops. Check out http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject and see if it is a group you may like to join.
First of all welcome to the Navy World. Our daughter graduated from HS. last June and was in BC in July had her PIR in 9/10 graduated from A-School in February and was on hold until last nite. She is comming home on Tuesday for ten days and then gets deployed to Guam. Honestly its been a rough ride for me as a mother there is not much communicatiuon with school, studying, ship duties and liberty not much left for us lol. All in all she is a fantastic person and she chose this life path. On the brighter side we get to save up and visit her.Emily is a bright young lady when she graduated fromA school she was awarded DMG and jumped to pay raise to E3 and her next command will be a Petty Officer unlike her younger sister a junior in high school and has no clue gotta love.
PS. anytime you need to vent, cry or just laugh please drop a couple of lines
Hello! Glad to "meet" you! I am excited to meet someone from C'dale on this site, especially since your daughter graduated bootcamp the same day as my son!! Hope she likes Gulfport, what is she going to school for? My son and I spent weekend before last in Biloxi, so we were very close to her. My son just has a few days left in Meridian, then hopefully will come home before he heads west to board the USS John C Stennis.
I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!! We are a close, friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor. I see you are fairly new to N4Ms and have already jumped in and joined our chats!!!! So glad to have you with us!! You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life. We are all in different phases of our daughters Naval careers and we are always there for each other!!! Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!
P.S. I just moved to Waukegan - no sure how far from here you are but would love the opportunity to meet up with other moms in the area.
