I just seen your post on the Norfolk page. My spouse and I live in Portsmouth and depending on which base your husband gets stationed on will depend on where you want to live up here. About the job, I sent you a friend request so I could email you some info. I don't know what kind of job you had in the past, but my company is still looking for one more person. I am a gas meter reader and it pays pretty good if you like to walk and be outside. If you can walk, at least 5 miles a day let me know and I will send you the info. Find out from your husband what base he is going to be on and that will tell you where you want to live. Traffic here is murderous and where you live isn't much better, there have been 11 homicides in Norfolk in the past 2 months so you have to pick the area wisely. I have spoken with a spouse in military housing and she says it isn't too bad. The drawback is they take your BAH, all of it.
