Hey Meghan! Thanks for the add! :)
I am from Ohio! About an hour and a half west of Columbus. But right now I'm going to school at Clemson University in SC. :)

I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have or just chat if you need someone to talk to. :)

haha. So I'm assuming your boyfriend is a Nuke, too? Gotta love those Nukes. :)

Boot camp grad. is definitely exciting. :)
They aren't officially "Nukes" until they graduate from Prototype (the third school).

And yes, ET stands for Electricians Technician. :) If you join the group "Nuke Moms" on here, there's lots of information. You should definitely check out the discussion: "Your Sailors Schedule upon Arrival to GC" It'll give you a really good idea of what he'll go through in the next 2ish years. :)

Aaron is almost ready to leave SC. He should be getting his orders any week now. So I've been through all of it but deployments. If you have any questions, just ask. :)

Bootcamp graduation: Oh my. haha. It will be the best experience of your life, I promise. Definitely get there early if you want good seats. The line outside the gate generally starts around 6, and it can get pretty long. Other than that, just enjoy it. Don't worry about what you do or where you go because he won't care what you do or where you go or how many sights you see. He's only going to care that he's with you. If his parents are going with you, beware of emotional mothers. It doesn't matter how controlled their emotions normally are, she WILL be extremely emotional and probably hard to deal with. Just take a few deep breaths and go from there. :)

I'm definitely nervous for his orders to come out. WA, CA, VA, and Japan are all in the running. And I've decided I won't complain about anything but Japan. And I know that orders means deployments, but I've been trying to mentally prepare myself for the worst so that it won't be as bad when they start. It's definitely crazy how much time has flown. It seems like just yesterday he left for bootcamp. And that'll be two years ago in January!

And as far as handling all of this- I really have learned to just take it one day at a time. Somedays I have realllly bad days, but then I know that tomorrow will be a new day and probably a better one. :) And I'm studying Genetics. We'll see how it goes. haha.

That's awesome that you went to OU! College is definitely exciting. :)
