A little about me:
He is our one and only, so proud of him. I home schooled for four years. Quit my job as an instructor when he was two to stay home with him. Best decision I ever made. Worked part time as he got older. I have been a private music teacher for over twenty-five years. My husband is a wonderful godly man, who loves to play golf.

Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
I loved the Navy's values and they emphasis being a team player. I love the motto "A Global Force for Good". We know several friends who had Navy careers. One was an Officer and he was the best business man I ever worked for. The other goes to our church and he has been encouraging me about our son. And a close friend's son-in-law was a Navy Seal.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

We got a letter today. They have finished the gas chamber and their PFA. The countdown begins. Not sure when battlestations is hopefully we find out tomorrow. We are excited to see her for Christmas. Spent yesterday grocery shopping and today cooking and baking.

Seems like forever since we saw her can't wait, then only 2 weeks till graduation.

Hope you get some contact with your son tomorrow.

You're quite welcome and thank you for the compliment.  My son did get to come home for leave, just in time for Christmas.  Such a good thing to see him so determined and forthright about his decision to join.  Took my breath away seeing him come down to baggage claim.  My co-workers (who've known him since he was a little guy) were awestruck.  BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!

Oh yes, the other questions.  He had been in since May, but his leave date was changed to September.  PIR was 11/4/11.  Attends A school in FL.
