Sandy, You are just getting started on this adventure, huh? My son has been in for 3 years (2 of them in Goose Creek, SC for Nuke school) He has been out on his first deployment since Dec. 14!!! He should be home in 3-4 weeks!!!!!! YIPPEEEEE!!!!

Remember that there are lots of really terrific moms here that will help you with questions or just a pat on the back. We have all been where you are and we understand! Pat

Sandy, Saw your post on Molly's and you are exactly right!! Stuff the boxes as full as possible. Use lots of tape as these boxes have a rough trip. On the sides of the box, attach a "Molly's" sticker and if it is for a female use a marker and put that on the side too! Fill out your customs form and head to the post office!! Easy-peasy!!! LMK if you have any more questions. Pat

OOPS! Forgot....you need to request to join "MAS We Ship Love". That is where the addresses are kept. Request to join and I will approve you as soon as I see it!!

Also, don't forget to put a note on the inside of the box with your email addy, so you can get a reply!

Good morning Sandy, We finally have sun with decent temperatures! You have been approved for "MAS We Ship Love". The reason we have shipping dates (May 23-27 this month) is that it increases the chance that their "goodies" will arrive at the same time instead of dribbling in. When they get a huge pile of love, it knocks their socks off!! haha!!

Hi Sandy, On July 16 there is a concert called "Rockin for the Troops" at Cantigny Park in Wheaton. I have invited moms to my house for lunch and then we will go to the concert. Good chance for you to meet other Navy moms in the area. More information under "Events" at the top of the page. Hope you will join us! Pat

I"m right there with you Sandy ...7 yrs and I still remember my son first phone call.he was a little older so it was a LITTLE better .....I my be your first but you are in for many more friends are you going to make it to the Rockin the Troops concert?

I love the paper sailor!!! Great idea.

I will be at the meet and greet on the 18th. We will have to find each other and chat. I tell you-this has been really hard on me. I can't wait to see him on the 19th.

Hi, how do I get to where the pictures are?

Well, best to not say anything about us on RTC FB...but please bring some of their info from there to the N4Moms group.  Like I said, they usually have good info...but I have found their BattleStations info to not be quite as accurate.
