My daughter left for basic training Jan. 11th and I have got 4 letters so far from her. The 1st letter took like 3 weeks to get. "The box" was hard but I still have yet to even open it. My daughter packed everything before she left so now I have a room full of boxes and totes since she is active and god knows when she will be coming home or have a place of her own. She has 1 backpack that I am supposed to take with me to graduation that has her Kindle, and cell phone and charges. and a pair of jeans and so forth. I know the waiting is hard, hang in there the letter will come. I got 1 letter a week for 3 weeks, now I got 2 letters this week I was so happy.
I have not recieved any information yet about her ship or division. It is so frustrating. It would be nice if they were together, do you have any information yet as to your daughter's ship and division? I keep checking her recruiter's site but nothing has been posted yet.
between my nerves and everything else, i was very intereseted in the charms for the fundraiser but wasn't sure how it all works . i work alot so i want to make sure

Here are a some discussions you might want to check out: What EXACTLY do I need to bring to Basic?, and What to bring to bootcamp?, I know there are others as well, but I know those deal with female recruits. Blessings to you and yours.
