Mom of 22 year old son, and my future sailor-19 year old daughter. I currently work as an RN in Pittsburgh.
I am here to support my

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Needed to learn more about it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Now as the time for her to leave gets closer, I am proud but still a bit concerned!
She has been through 1/2 of boot camp and is doing very well-I know now this is what she really wanted to do.

I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!! We are a close, friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor. I see you are brand new to N4Ms, when does your daughter leave for boot camp? Please feel free to jump in and join our chats. You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life. We are all in different phases of our daughters Naval careers and we are always there for each other!!! I have a certain soft spot when it comes to sailor daughters going to the OS rating. I was an OS when I served years ago and the rating had just been opened for women. I was the second female to be rated as an OS3!! Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!
