- My sailor is now at his first duty station in California. He is a USN FMF Corpsman! My son is enlisted in DEP at this time. His intention is to be a Navy Corpsman. He would like to be attached to the Marines as a corpsman. My dad was in WWII on an LST in the Pacific. My husband was a Navy corpman during end of Vietnam and Desert Storm 1. GO NAVY!

Well, July 9 is approaching. My son leaves for final check then goes to boot on 07/10/12. holy cow. Time flies.
