My daughter arrived at GL on Aug 7th. Just hit the half-way point.  No getting around it...this is HARD.  Coming from a family with all girls none of them every mentioned military as a career choice until my youngest said "Oh, by the way, the recruiter was here after school". Huge shock to my system!  But I have found alot of helpful support references on here and I think you will too. Welcome and good luck to your son and his div.

I was the same way for about 1 week.  I just kept myself busy and work was very busy as well.  We finally got a letter from my SR last Thursday.  It was a big relief to hear that he was doing well.  It did ease my mind and I feel a lot better about him being there.  Hang in there.  It will get better.
