I am a 25 year old RN who just got engaged to the love of my life. He just went to Great Lakes on September 5th for boot camp and I'm missing him like crazy. I never expected to be a military wife but I'd do anything to be with this guy, including uproot myself for him and go anywhere the Navy sends us.

    I can't believe you've been waiting this long for his letter! Did you try contacting his recruiter at all? It seems like an awfully long time to wait. I'll lose my mind if I go that long! I have so many letters to send out!!!

    Nope mail came today and nothing :( we will see Monday. =\ I talked to his recruiter too and he told me he couldn't get his address or any info either this really sucks!!!!!!

    That is GREAT!  I'm doing well.  I did have moments of worry and fear, but the voice of reason spoke up the loudest.  I know my son is working hard, hating life right now, but he is exactly where he wants to be.  II notice you are an RN...I am too!  I'd like to invite you to a facebook page for PIR 11/2.  It's a great, positive, upbeat group you may enjoy!  Do you have a FB page?
