Hey, How are you today?  Know this is hard, I pray that you have family to help you and him thru this.  Keep on here, it will help and you'll get lots of info that will make it seem less confusing. Get in touch with me anytime you need to.

  • Juliette

No letter for me either! Why do we have to suffer like this? It's depressing me more!!
  • karens (alumni ship 13-Div 366)

Hey Girl, how are you doing?  Hope your letter comes soon.  Don't worry, it will, and he is fine or you would have heard.  Did you call his recruiter and get the address?

  • karens (alumni ship 13-Div 366)

Honey, calm down, the letter will come.  Keep writing to him, number the back of the letters so he knows what order to read them in. Remember that at this point, no calls are good news, means that there is no problems.  Keep positive and supportive in your letters and think about seeing him in November.  You are going to be a Navy Wife, you are going to have to get thru deployments of six months, He can't do his job and be safe if he is worried about you.  You will be fine, contact me anytime you need to talk, my cell is 484-769-6748 except for work 8 to 5 I am available.  How is your sister, do you have a niece or nephew?

  • Juliette

Hey girl. I FINALLY got my letter today! I bet you that you'll get yours tomorrow - Saturday. I'm a little bit closer to Chicago, so I think that's why I got it first...as soon as you get it though, tell me his division! My fiance is Ship 14 Div 368. I hope our guys are together. And i pray for you to get yours tomorrow. It's coming trust me!!!

  • Jesse's Girl

Did your letter come yet? Still nothing for me...ready to jump off a bridge (not literally of course). I talked to his recruiter who said he knew as much as I did. Then he told me that we arent supposed to receive form letters until around 3 weeks BEFORE they graduate. Somehow he has not convinced me of his brilliance, especially since multiple people have received theirs quite early on. I talked to one girl that said she never received hers at all and her bf is graduating in 13 days. Please God dont let this happen to me!!! I hope your letter comes soon. Hang in there, I'm sure we'll hear something soon...

  • Jesse's Girl

Mail came and went today...still nothing...sigh...we got this right?

  • Juliette

Hang in there girl....your letter is coming - I just think its because you're far on the west coast. If he left around the same time as my fiance I can pretty rest assure you that his PIR is 11/09...hopefully I'm not wrong. But I can understand your angst, you wanna send your letters! You will get it this week for sure...so keep checking!!!

  • Jesse's Girl

i FINALLY got my form letter and also 5 personal letters from him yesterday. I live in Houston and the envelope said the 21st, so that means they didnt even let them mail anything until 4 days ago. Hang in there if you havent gotten anything yet; it took me 19 days to hear anything. it WILL come!

  • Joaeg

Hang in there Anndrya, it is coming you are almost there...I know this is the hardest thing ever to wait on, but very soon you will get it...snail mail is slow, but you too are being prepped for life as a sailors wife...big hugs to you
  • Juliette

Any letter yet? I was thinking about you! I think if anything, you probably will get it all at once lol - his form letter and his personal letters...that might make you happier! I'm dying to see when his grad date and division is already! Keep me posted...i hope u hear something soon.

  • Juliette

Ahhh yay!!! I'm SO happy for you! I told ya they would finally come! I just got 8 letters from my SR yesterday too! So I assume now I will see your face at PIR! I'm so excited for you! We got 6 weeks left!!! Get those letters out first thing tomorrow!!!

  • Juliette

He'll def get our letters next week for sure then! So happy you finally got them, and we def will get to meet at PIR...i can't wait to see our handsome sailors! we're getting closer - and I SO hopeeee we get a call soon! I told you this on the other group, but join our PIR group for 11/09! Check out my page and look at my groups, you'll find it there!

  • Juliette

He's doing good!! He said its very hard to adjust but he's trying his best! Did you cry your eyes out when you read your letters lol...I did! It made me so happy but so sad at the same time...he told me how much he missed and how he would do anything to hear my voice again :( god..how depressing! What about your man? He adjusting okay??

  • Calirose

Hi Anndrya, its nice to meet someone else with a loved one in this division. Assuming you have a gotten a letter by now, my parents got a letter yesterday but I was really hoping I'd get one today, maybe tomorrow I will. Missing my boy tonight. Are you coming to PIR?
  • karens (alumni ship 13-Div 366)

Hi Anndrya, My SR (son) is in the same division.  No letters yet, maybe today. Can't wait until we all start getting letters and can share information!

  • Calirose

Oh crap, reading your response makes me worry even more. Where will your SR be going to A school and what for?

  • karens (alumni ship 13-Div 366)

Anndrya, last night when I wrote to David I told him to find your SR and tell him I said you were a keeper!

  • karens (alumni ship 13-Div 366)

I can't wait to meet you two at PIR. Are you going to go to Sarge's meet and greet the night before?  I heard that is the best.  My middle son is coming too and Davids Godmother, my best friend, more a sister.  My oldest son and daughter in law are going to wait until he is in South carolina and drive down, Sean (my oldest) hates flying because of the wheelchair.

  • Kassandra (Ship 13 DIV 366)

Hi!!!, how are you ? I see our men are in the same DIV :) How is time going by for you? Cant believe tomorrow it will be three weeks ago since they left!

  • Kassandra (Ship 13 DIV 366)

Oh forgot to ask if you knew, do you know if we get a phone call this week?
  • Kassandra (Ship 13 DIV 366)
