I am cruising the Facebook page for the group but it seems to be girlfriends and wives mostly so am glad to have another mum to be in touch with. I have been trying to keep up with the various initials for everything. James has written to us and seems to be in relatively good spirits, despite the killer punishment pt sessions when they don't follow instructions. He seems to feel that SS Delrio is fair but firm and is looking forward to when they get phone privileges.

James is interested in aviation but his letter today told us that he may be too big for helicopters and jets. He made it in terms of the measurements when he was accepted but I guess the naval surgeon has told him he isn't built to fly copters and jets will be a stretch. He was keeping an open mind about what to fly since he had been told that it depends on performance in academics and where they have slots when the time comes. I think I saw you had joined an aviators group so I am assuming Spenser also is an aviator candidate? At this point I will be glad when they get through RLP next week!

Sorry I spelt Spencer's name incorrectly. Yes he's tall but also broad and weighs in heavy! I don't know...anyway, RLP stands for room, locker, personnel and is their next big hurdle to overcome. I understand they get a second chance to pass if needed next Saturday but believe this is a rollable event. Will be glad when they can email so we can get up to date news.
