Thank you for asking. Yes, he got out and took part in RLP. Seems he was SIQ for three days and said he imagines it is as close to prison as he could get! The class passed RLP , thank goodness and we have had emails.

Let me know about the trip. It will be lovely to spend some time with your LO and see the show. Spectacular!
My son was allowed to make a call so we spoke very briefly. He has email access now but the phone situation is a bit vague. So much to just learn to let play out and have no control over! The good news is that we feel we can book flights for graduation as it is Dec. 21st and that's a hectic time to get seats.

Hi Dawn.  He didn't do OCS; he did the Corps of Cadets ROTC program at A&M which allows them to skip OCS.  So he graduated from A&M and commissioned in May and moved to P'cola the 1st of June.  (He got married in between.)  He had to do API out of sequence because of the pool closing, but finally finished that the tail end of Oct.  He already knew he was going to Whiting for Primary, and he classed up for that the 1st of Nov.  He was supposed to start in the simulators today and may be flying by the time we see him at Christmas.  He's hoping so.

Hope your son gets to come home...where do you live?  We're in the Dallas area.

Maybe they do!  They live in Milton, since they knew he was going to be in Primary at Whiting, they opted to live closer to it, and not have to move.  His wife works at the gym on base at Whiting.  I'm looking forward to seeing them and their place at Christmas.  My daughter and her hubby will be coming from California to join us too.

    Do you have other kids?
