Good Morning!  Saw your post on the PIR page.  Welcome to the group!  I hope you look through all of the info posted on that PIR page....in the PAGES section which is under the MEMBERS picture box on the PIR page, and the discussions at the top of the page as well.  Lots of info for you there!

On your post on the PIR page, you disclosed your SR's name, which we are not allowed to do on Navy4Moms.  So....if you don't mind clicking on the "x" in the post box to remove the post, that would be great.  Then....please repost again without using his name.  Also, please be sure to join your division discussion group at the top of the page.  You will get to meet some of the other ladies in your division there.

I saw your question about care packages.  No, you can't send a traditional care package.  There is a suggestion within the Page, Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit, within Boot Camp Moms that you might find helpful.  Join that group and be sure to check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within that group and in your PIR group. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

Good morning!!! My sons last name is Cotterman. When he called two days after Christmas he told me about your son and that they both are going to be RP and yes his A school changed from MS to SC I actually told him that lol because someone posted it on our Facebook group. He's also mentioned him in letters along with Ding, Houseman and Gritchel I may not have spelled that one right. We live in Ohio. Are you going to Sarge's?
  • miss3269

That's what my son is going to be also, a religious program specialist. They will assist and guard a chaplain I know it's way overwhelming! Yes he's my oldest and first one in the service so I'm learning my way or trying to lol. I have a daughter that's in college. We are going Sarge's also!! We are staying at the Quality Inn. My cousin has been in the navy three years and he does what they will be doing and really likes it I was really shocked when my son said this is what he wanted to do. Have you gotten any calls? My son also said there were two or three guys in div 076 that will be going to A school with them also

He hasn't said what airport. I'm hoping for a letter today. I did read on the Facebook site for 1/25 PIR that is usually O'Hare though. We are driving in

My cousin is stationed in California. He's never had to go on a ship he says usually there job isn't on a ship because there are enough people around the chaplain all te time. He's been to three other countries so far. My son is 24 my daughter is 20 and a junior in college The only calls I've gotten was the I'm here call and then one in 12/27 but he did call his Dad on 12/31. We are divorced have been for years. You think I would be calmer but nope I'm not lol. I'm freaking out lol. This no communication is so hard. Ill be glad when they get to SC and we can talk to them. The Facebook group is great lots of info and great people. Let me see if I can paste the link here Well I can't copy the link from my phone but when I get home from work tonight I can copy the link and paste it here for you to join Or u may be able to search for the group name on Facebook it's PIR 01-25-13
