My name is Chanel and I am 22 years old and a mother to a beautiful 1 year old baby girl named Maleah. My husband and the love of my life just left for basic training in the Navy located in Great Lakes, IL . And I have to say I have never been so nervous, scared and lonely. My husband has always been my rock and mold and when he left I felt a part of me drain away. I miss him so much.

    Chanel: my name is Gina and my daughter left 3/19. I just received her box today. I expect a letter next week. She has 3 sisters and 3 brothers so we have lots of letters to send already. Our recruiter sent us her address last night; so I am sending out her first group of letters now.
