A little about me:
Proud mother of two great kids. Both joining the Navy. My daughter Shelby will ship out for basic on March 19, 2013 and my son Patrick will ship out on July 9, 2013 Ironically he joined first, but on delayed entry (Senior in High School) She followed in his footsteps and will ship first.
Nervous and excited for them... but the PRIDE overrides those emotions!

    Hi, it is good to read all your post about your son and daughter. My daughter is leaving on March 19th as well for boot camp. I am as well having lots of emotions, however, very deeply proud of my baby girl.  This website is so wonderful to have for reading and getting information to prepare us for our kids future.
