Join Sub Moms and GROTON, CT. SUBSCHOOL & "A" SCHOOL MOMS and check out the Naval Submarine Base New London Facebook Page. Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend. Do you know what his particular rating (job specialty) is going to be? There may be a group for that as well.

Welcome to NavyforMoms.com. My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012. He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron. He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic. I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)
