Just got the call that he is there and will get his stuff soon. It was such a quick call. I could barely hear him. I hope you got to talk to your son by now. You are in my thoughts.

I am so happy to hear you got the call from your son! It's sort of like marking off items on a checklist.....the call, the box arriving, the first letter from him, the form letter, the second call, more letters, the final call, and graduation. You feel a lot better when you can mark the first thing off and know the second mark is coming soon. Today is a little better. I worked from home some so that took my mind off it for at least a while. Only a few times of tears but no break downs. I told myself I needed to at least write on paragraph a day to him.....haha, I sit down and just finished 2 pages before I knew it. I could have went on and on but stopped myself. I was worried at first that I would write the wrong thing and make it hard in him but I didn't. I just wrote like we would have talked over dinner tonight. I kept the emotional part out for the most part. Just encouragement and ended it with I love you and I am ver proud. I can't wait till I can mail it. Keep me posted if you are able to mark the next thing off....the box or a letter. I am super excited for both!
