My son is ship 13, Div 403 but I guess Div 403 and 404 are brother divisions and train together. :) We are making lodging/airfare arrangements this week. Not really sure where to start......lol
Welcome toBoot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. Since you have an SR at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted."What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
Thanks for the Friend request; I hope we can be around for some time to support each other. If there is ever anything I can help you with, don't hesitate to ask. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
Thanks for friending me, my son is in Groton will graduate ET NAV middle of oct. , your son will be a missile tech, that is correct , missile techs go to A school in GA. BESS is About Six weeks. Once he is in Groton you can call and text him like a normal person, it is great after no communication during BC. Hope all goes well for him.
I read your comment after I replied, I still learning how this site works, thanks for friending me you are the first to invite me, I usually invite others. Any more questions you have just ask, this site is great for info , be sure and read all the comments on Groton page . Your son will love when he gets to Groton. It is so much more like normal life, I mean they are still navy regulations, but a much better than BC? Your son will do great. BC is sometimes harder on the moms just because we cannot hear from them. I was Air Force so was my husband so we both prepared our son for what was ahead, and I kind of knew what he was going through. Write him letters everyday, and as soon as you get his address start sending, they really look forward to letters and it keeps them going. Let me know how he is doing and how you are doing.
From what my son said.....their schedule time to call is tomorrow. Stay by your phone. My SR just needed more info from me that was needed. Sounds like that was the only reason he was calling. I take it any way I can though. Just as long as it isn't bad news.
