A little about me:: I am supporting my nephew. My brother-in-law died after a long battle with cancer. His Mom is a single Mom working, and no time to compute, asked me to give her as much info as I can. So I read your forum and call her up. She has asked that I represent her. My parents met during WW II in the NAVY. My brother retired from the NAVY. My Husband is a Viet NAm Vet Army. We proudly support our troops

We don't have MOS in the Navy, that's for Army, Marines, and Coast Guard. The Navy has ratings. Since he has finished "A" School, it will be a while before he can attempt to cross rate into EOD. He would have to meet very strict standards for that since it is a special ops rating. The time that the ship is in dry dock is actually good time for him. Time at sea is not as good as time on shor.
