Start with the OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and Arrival and What Happens at the RTC, and read 1 or 2 pages a day and then go back to them as you need the info. Since your SR will go to “A” School for Damage Controlman (DC), join Damage Control Mom's, and you may also find others with loved ones with that rating in Engineers, Snipe Moms, and Snipe Moms(enginers). You will also want to join Great Lakes A School Q&A and GL A-school moms. You can also check out the Training Support Center (TSC) Great Lakes Facebook Page. The Rating Information Card for DC can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/dc.pdf. You will be able to enjoy extra time with your Sailor following PIR. I'm hanging in Sonia, how about you?? I seem to slip between "you can do this" and "omg I'm never going to make it" I worry about him, but I know that he wants this so I have faith he'll get thru it. I can't help but wish I was there helping though, you know? Is that crazy?
