I have been in the medical field for 11 years. He was self employed and decided to do a life changing career change and join the Navy. We are both excited for what the future holds and the oppurtunities to come!

When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
I have not had much experience with the Navy, otherthan since I was a young girl I myself had always wanted to join, but was never confident or a good swimmer to join. But my husband has all those assests and more he is going to be a great sailor! I am very proud that he joined the Navy. The most important thing I think I can offer my husband and learned is support. As a wife I know that support and love is the best thing my sailor needs and wants.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I see you have joined your PIR group; I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. The Page, When Will the Recruits be Paid? and Information for Spouses, has important information for you. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
