Profile Information:

A little about me:
I am a single mother of two incredible boys. I have raised them by myself since they were 7 & 11. My boys always came first. Their education, sports and family time was very important to me. They are my world and I wanted to make sure they were never deprived. I have a wonderful job that I've been employed with for 18 years. I've been very fortunate to buy my own home. My 23 year old son joined the Navy in June 2012. He is now a Submarine Sonar Technician on the USS Nebraska SSBN. My 19 year old son is currently in BC following his brothers footsteps. He went in as a reserve HM Fleet Marine Force. I couldn't be prouder of these two boyz of mine.

Our sons' stories are so similiar...except I'm a widow...hubby died when my sons were 15/17  :-(.  And my son went to college for about the same length of time yours did, and got his A.S. degree.  So now he is working on his Bachelors, courtesy of the GI Bill (which I'm sure your son will do too!).  My son was honorably discharged in March of this year--started school June 1st.  He is doing school full-time online through Thomas Edison State College (one of the schools that caters to the military) and will have his Bachelors, he hopes in 5 semesters!  Looking for a job too now, but no luck so far (he is in TX with his fiance).

Wishing your son the very best in his time in the Navy!  Prayers for us single moms and all that we do!  We are WOMEN, hear us ROAR!  :-)  Blessings....
