No, I'm sorry, I do not know of a good hotel.  You can do a google search and look at customer ratings to find a good one though.  What is your son pursuing?

hi jojo! we just visited our son last weekend.  He said Maaaybe in a month in a half he will start A-school.  He just said he got into a group called AD working Party. After your son finnishes INDOCS, he may be able to search it out.  Its to begin studying and physical training BEFORE school starts to get ahead. Also son is in Bravo Barracks

INDOCS is like a class they go to for 1st week. it tells them all about rues and how to's. All the Navy stuff they need to know like paper work and learn how their schedules work. but i know theres a WAY better explanation than this on this website.  So much to learn!!

hi jojo, I dont know any other barracks names. But my son has been in same one since day 1 at Pensacola. You have a great weekend too! we're in HB, CA and its Crazy Hot today!!

so your son will be in Ph I for maybe one week? then PH 2. thats when he gets to leave base is he wants on weekends but must be back by curfew like 8pm or something. but Phase 3 is when he has liberty ALL weekend and can stay with you at your hotel! so fun! he will learn So much at INDOCS about all those details. Heard there was a big earhquake near you. Did you feel it??

as long as your son locks his personal stuff in his room locker, it will all be fine. my son says all the drawers on his desks have locks and they also get a bigger place to lock things up. i guess he thouht he could leave for whole weekend and nothing woiuld happen. I also done think this happens a lot. Just a weird thing I guess.  And YES, all different backgrounds for sure. My son loves it.  Yours will too.

haha! we had a teeny tiny earthquake this morning! wasnt even sure it was real. Nobody reacted but I was in the bathroom and heard the shower squeegee tapping on shower door. Checked for wind cuz window is open..no wind. found out there was small earthquake in LA.

Hey Jojo, How's it going? You're welcome for the pics. Well 3 weeks ago, my son said he was on page 2 of some list. He really doesnt know what the list is for. Then an AD class started and now he's on page 1. So he moved up. Sounds like he's closer to classing up. I really miss him. It was harder for us to leave him this time in Pensacola than when we left him from boot camp. I am so proud he's in the Navy but am so sad i cannot see him every day.  He is really studying hard now so he can do good in school. That way he may get to be stationed in San Diego. That's only 1 1/2 hrs away!!

HI Jojo! i talked to my son the other day, he said he met you son recently. :)  So thats cool. I've been trying to land a job and been so busy!! AHHHH! hate looking for jobs. my unemployment ended last week. anyway, son has not has classed up yet. :( Has your looked for the AD working party? It helps them get ready for AD school. Not sure all details, but ask him to check it out. My son is getting to know instructors and able to study material.  gotta go! busy to takie kids to skatepark now!   always busy!!

If I get this job I've been trying for, (waiting over 2 months for background check to clear) but if i get it, i;m going to vidsit son for weekend with my 2nd check!! we're all so close and he too is the clown. i think thats what i miss so much is his smiley face   funniness! Fun guy. oh well, not much i can do except save money. i'll maybe leave dad home. costs too much for 2 people.  I can stay cheap, im not picky. Hope they class up soon!

gOof morning jo jo, when we visited him in Florida we actually stayed across the border in Alabama in Gulf Shores. He came there for the weekend with us. We found a condo on a website called Airbnb.com we wanted to have a home setting what's the regular kitchen for him. It was on the beach. So check it out because you can often find good deals. Another website similar is called Flipkey.com ..yesterday my son said it looks like 3 weeks tell his classes up. Doesn't know for sure but says it looks like it. Otherwise no new news from him.from that job I'm waiting for I heard the background check went well so now I'm waiting for human resources to contact me for the next step! Yea! Talk to you soon

jojo, i got that job!! and it starts this friday!! i text my son but he has not replied. he askes me all the time if i got it.  my husband a littl\e scared for me because rough people go in there. its at probation dept. but i will be behind very thick glass. it'll be fine.

ahhhh! oh my gosh! its crazy and very exciting! i have tio wash my hands a hundred times a day because the criminals hand me papers thru the bullet proof window! the days go by fast tho.

Lots of homework i hear. does your son know where hes at on the list? its abour 15 students per class.  when are you going to visit? do you have plans? it's really fun over there.  i guess my son plans on coming home soon aftet graduation., so i probably will not be going back to pensacola. :(  i really wanted to go there one more time to see him. well we'll see. hope youre doing well!

tgif!! mario found a girl that was in the AD working party. asked lots of questions then when an opening came up, she talked to whoever was in charge and recommended him. your son has to seek them out. he should get on it asap if poissible cuz he can get lots of study time. i dont know how they pick who starts school, but he needs to find out where that list is and find out where he is at. only so he can gwt an idea of how long its going to take. then check regularly to see how he's getting closer to starting. i think they take 15 at a time.

my son is doing really good in school.. right now hes the house-class leader...extra work. but he treally wants to be able to pick where he gets stationed. let mre know if your son finds that list!

Hi! Yes mario esparza,  right now he's school house leader. His graduate 5/30. Yes I will tell him to be on the lookout for Brandon hewart! I'm sure that he can point him in the right direction.  He said that in 2 weeks,  he'll get his orders. Scary!! We're hoping for California
