  I messaged yoiu on here about Blue Star Moms. TRying to get a group going for Pinal County. We (myself and an Armymom) in Maricopa already have an informal fb group for Blue Star Moms.

Join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in August.  You will meet others with loved ones leaving this week who may be in the same TG and have PIR together. Be sure to check out the discussion, Things to Do in the Last Month before Your Future Sailor Leaves for.... I also suggest that you begin checking out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions there. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what will soon be happening. Be sure to join your PIR group once you get The Form Letter.

What is your future Sailor's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. You may want to check out Mom’s of Navy Daughters, Mom's of Daughters 2, and Women in the Navy.

What is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty) and/or where is he stationed (what vessel, if one)? There may be groups I can direct you to.
