Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. Start with OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and Arrival and What Happens at the RTC and read 1 or 2 pages a day and then go back to them as you need the info.

What is your recruit's rating (job/specialty) or field going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend.

Take care and blessings to you and yours.

The PIR date is determined by what division the recruit is placed in and what TG that division is in.

Click on OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and the Page will open in a new window. Read the Page and follow the directions at the bottom to make change 3 (see the words in bold) so that this page is no longer visible to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web. Don’t forget to click the “Save” button at the bottom.

There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with your recruit.

I think our daughters fly to San Diego together. Were you the other family there that we talk to a bit? My daughter was a tall blonde. They flew out October 14. Only three girls flew out that day. The boys had to wait.

Hello Beth I'm not sure she was a tall black girl with curly hair. I took pictures of the group that swear in with her so I'll look to see if your dtr was in that group. She swear in on Oct 13 and headed to RTC OCT 14

    Idk rating yet
  • lemonelephant

Don't forget to make at least change 3.

  • lemonelephant

If you don't know the rating, does she have a contract for one of the PACT programs or AECF or SECF?

The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 906 is Triple Threat.
