Welcome to N4M. Your key to adjusting is finding a group where you can feel comfortable and get answers to your questions – Click on the underlined links:
    1. New Moms Stop Here group. You should think of this group as your orientation station. We do have a number of experienced members who can answer questions and point you in the right direction.
    2. Depper’s… in but not yet . is a group for those just waiting for bootcamp to start (Delayed Entry Program – a depper)
    3. Boot Camp Moms group. Is he/she already in bootcamp? Or just about to go in? This is the group.
    4. OCS Graduate Moms or the NROTC Moms. For those going to be an officer or going to NROTC?

    Welcome to New Members
Of particular importance is the use of the “Search” function. You should do searches in blogs, forums, discussions for answers in previously posted threads BEFORE adding a NEW blog/discussion. Finally, it takes time to learn how to use this site. Be patient. Check your page & status box often.

Hi Ladies, My husband and I are staying at the Candlewood Suites in Waukegan and we plan on being at the meet and greet. I am so excited for our girls. I was in the Navy and so was my husband, so we know how it is to be in boot camp. This is an exciting time in our girls lives. We are so proud of our daughter. We need to be praying that they can pull together. I guess they are having a hard time getting any flags. I know how that is because my company didn't get any flags until the last couple weeks of boot. They just need to focus on being a team and not themselves individually.

I see you have joined your PIR group; I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

Since your recruit will go to “A” School for Mass Communication Specialist (MC), join Mass Communication Specialist and Parents whose Sailors are stationed at FT. Meade. You will also want to check out Fort George G. Meade, Md Facebook Page.

The Rating Information Card for MC can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/usn/enlisted/rating_info_cards/mc.pdf. (If you get the security warning, it is safe to go there.)

Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) to help you know how to plan your weekend.
