Join the group, DEP-Leavin' for Boot Camp in February, to connect with others with loved ones who arrived the same day and may have PIR together.
I also invite you to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and PIR Reference Information. Once you know your recruit’s PIR date and/or division number, watch in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and/or at http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date and join the group for that once it has been created. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening, but you will also want to check out the other Pages in all of the groups.

You may want to join Girlfriends, Fiances, and Wives of Sailors.

There are no groups for just loved ones of Engineman (EN), but you may find some in Engineers, Snipe Moms, and Snipe Moms(enginers). You will also want to join Great Lakes A School Q&A and GL A-school moms. You can also check out the Training Support Center (TSC) Great Lakes Facebook Page.
The Rating Information Card for EN can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/usn/enlisted/rating_info_cards/en.pdf. (If you get the security warning, it is safe to go there.)
You will be able to enjoy extra time with your Sailor following PIR. (See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend.)
