I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
At Boot Camp now
When I heard “Navy,” I...
needed to learn more about it, was proud and encouraged it
Our Navy experience so far...
is challenging and exciting., has presented us with many questions., is a work in progress!
I see you recently joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!! We are a close, friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor. I see you are new to N4Ms and your daughter is in boot camp now? Please feel free to continue to join in on our chats on our group page. You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life. We are all in different phases of our daughters Naval careers and we are always there for each other!!! Let us support you when you're missing her, lend an ear when you need to vent, and celebrate with you when you want to brag!! Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!
Tweetybird, I asked around on a FB page that I joined and one of the admins explained that they get 30-60 for their "I'm a sailor" call. I hope that by now you were able to speak to your baby girl.
Divisions109 and 110 are brother divisions and train together and will haveBattle Stations-21 (BST)together, so lookfor others with loved ones in either division. Write to your recruit and askwhenBattle Stations-21 (BST)will be so you willknow when to expect the "I'm a Sailor!" call.
If you would like information on your recruit’s rating (job/occupational specialty) or field, then let me know the rating or field. There are groups for most specialties and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend.

You may also want to check out CARRIER Families! and/or Norfolk Sailors - Family & Friends. Check out http://wavy.com/category/news/military/ for news from the Norfolk area.
What is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty)? There may be a group for that as well.
