    Welcome to NAVYforMoms.com!

Head to “Settings” on the main page right away to add a profile image (no last names visible, please) and complete your Profile. Then - and this is important! - read these Community Guidelines and this Operations Security (OPSEC) Checklist, for the safety and privacy of all our Sailors.

Then jump right in!  Browse around the site and check out the groups and the information in their Discussion Forums.

Join this group for boot camp moms, where you'll also find a group for your Pass in Review (graduation) date; and this one for PIR Reference Information.

Get a head start during boot camp by joining groups for, and learning about, your Sailor's occupational specialty and "A" School; and later your Sailor's duty station and/or Navy ship and homeport. You can also join groups for your own state, region or home town and interests from getting ready for deployment to care package ideas!

Please say Hi when you join a group, and feel free to ask any and all questions - everyone was new once, and there is no "dumb" question.

This site was created by the U.S. Navy just for you, and we look forward to getting to know you and your Sailor.

Welcome to the NAVY family - we're so glad you're here!!

    Tlpemp55,

I see you recently joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!  I'm glad you found us. So your daughter leaves for boot camp soon? That time will come quicker than you give it credit for!!  I'm happy to see you already jumped in and joined the conversations on our group page - there is usually someone on every day. We are a friendly, caring group of moms who have daughters in all stages of Navy life - from newbies to those whose daughters have been in for several years - from officer to enlisted!!! We support all our sailor girls and each other as well. Not just during the Bootcamp days but the weeks and months following, as they go off to school, first duty station, or first deployment.  Let us support you when you're missing her, lend an ear when you need to vent, and celebrate with you when you want to brag!!  We look forward to getting to know you and your sailor!! Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!

    Tlpemp55,

Thank you for the friend request.  I look forward to sharing this crazy roller coaster experience with you.  Sorry you are having a hard time navigating this site.  Trial and error really is the best teacher, but if I can help you in any way, please do not hesitate to ask!!!!

Divisions 087 and 088 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. Write to your recruit and ask when Battle Stations-21 (BST) will be so you will know when to expect the "I'm a Sailor!" call.

Check in the groups and see if you have clicked "Stop Following." If it says "Follow", then click it. If it says "Stop Following", then you are getting the emails for the posts in that group.

Also, while you are in "Settings" make the changes that I previously sent. The Privacy Settings for this page are still set to "Anyone." If you need me to send the changes again, then let me know.
