    Welcome to NAVYForMoms!

Members are looking forward to meeting you and answering your questions!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines, and recommendations 1 - 7 at this OPSEC/PERSEC page.

We ask that you not use your last name in your Username (even if it differs from your Sailor's) and not post photos with names visible on uniforms, for OPSEC reasons and the security of both you and our Sailors.  Go to “Settings” on the main page to set your Username, add a profile image and complete your Profile.

Jump right in!  Browse around the site and check out the groups and their Discussion Forums.  You can search groups for boot camp, your PIR date, your Sailor's occupational specialty and "A" school, homeport and ship, and also your state and/or home town, and interests from getting ready for deployment to care package ideas.

Be sure to introduce yourself when you join a group, and feel free to ask any and all questions - we were all new to this once too  :)  We look forward to getting to know you and your Sailor, and welcome to the NAVY family!

I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC will let you know what is happening and what to expect.
