First and foremost I am a Child of God! I am a Mom of 3 amazing adults! I am a Honey (grandma name) to 1 little girl! I live in Texas on the coast and loving the Beach Life! We are super proud of our son joining the Navy as we have a history of Navy Sailors in our family.

    Join this group for boot camp moms, where you'll also find a group for your Pass in Review (graduation) date; and this one for PIR Reference Information.  

    Get a head start during boot camp by joining groups for, and learning about, your Sailor's occupational specialty and "A" School; and later your Sailor's duty station and/or Navy ship and homeport. You can also join groups for your own state, region or home town and interests from getting ready for deployment to care package ideas!

    Please say Hi when you join a group, and feel free to ask any and all questions - everyone was new once, and there is no "dumb" question.

    khryse - Welcome Aboard!! I go by Chipmunk on this site and I wanted to welcome you to both the BC Moms group and the Nuke Moms group as well. My sailor left for BC 3 years ago the other day as a Nuclear recruit. He is now out in the fleet working on his senior nuclear qualifications there. Be sure to come over to the BC Moms page and post a comment introducing yourself and letting us know about your journey. We are happy to help you in any way that we can. You may also introduce yourself on the Nuke Moms group and follow along with the discussions as well, but for now, we will have the most answers to your questions in the Nuke Moms group.
