I am a Navy Vet, married to an Active Duty Sailor, and now my oldest is also in the Navy. We are currently stationed in Japan.
I am marking "other" for relative because I am representing many Sailors, all at various stages of their time in service. (Myself, my husband, and my son, as well as other family members who have served.)
I am here to support my

Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Over the years I've met some of the most amazing people, and I've experienced some once in a lifetime things. Some of them fun, some of them tragic, and none of them things I will ever forget.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
Awe well thank you - I have it set up so all the discussion posts and comments are sent to my phone - now I can take the "I miss him so much" and the "when are we getting married" and even the repetitive posts where they could have just read another before posting their question.
But the whole not trusting their sailors post got me fired up! I think that was the second time I've actually felt the need to comment lol
I just wanted to say how much I really enjoy your posts. Your advice is always so sound and you also are able to do it from a servicememebrs view as well as a spouse and mother. Thank you!
Thanks for posting about what happens when a ship deploys and your suggestions for handling it. That was great. I haven't been through it yet, but it's coming within a year and I figured from things I'd seen before that I was not going to go and now I know I won't and I will save up and go when the ship comes back into port.
Also, if you post a reply and then see an error, click "Edit" under the reply and change the error. You have 15 minutes to do this after posting a reply to a discussion.
