The Navy offers opportunities that...: Well my father was in the Navy during world war II so we had always heard great stories of his duties and travels. But .So far I have only learned that they make us moms wait to long to hear from our children. One phone call after the 1st week would be welcome by family

I live in Dix hills, grew up In commack... My boat is in glencove and it's literally ten minutes to get across, I go over there in the summer anyway, and yeah I forgot about ferrys! Good idea. I'm so happy you got a call that's awesome, he is calling my cell which is also attatched to me now, it doesn't leave my hand and I put an obnoxious ring as to never miss a call haha

Thank you for letting me know also! Hopefully he wrote letters and just hasn't had a chance to send them! I sent 50 letters, in 15 days... I am going to stifle my letter writing to one per day or two... I got carried away. And three books of stamps per four letters! Those are funny odds! Haha

Haha I went to a stationary store in Manhattan , kates paperie the other day, and I bought nine different types of papers, and a wax gun with a seal with my initial on it, and gold seals with my initials on it.. I am having so much fun writing letters, you have no idea. I was really upset for the first ten days-ish, and as you can imagine I was kicking myself for missing his call, but I am currently doing an ok job of staying busy, and honestly, you lifted my spirits just by sharing your information! I feel like such a loser! I am never this corny, seriously.
