    Yes. PIR is graduation from Boot Camp. It stands for Pass In Review. Meaning that they perform in front of the higher ranks of the Navy (and lucky parents, etc invited). Once in a life time event, not only for your Sailor, but for you. Please try and make it to PIR. Other graduations are important, but the first is quite remarkable!
