I'm a Navy mom to a 20 year old enlisted daughter who is serving on the USS Nimitz. She joined in April 2013 and it has been a growing experience for the both of us. As a single mom it has been a process of learning to listen and give advice and being at peace with her path of life. God is good.

Welcome to NavyforMoms.com. My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012. He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron. He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic. I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)
If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp. I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)
My Sailor has been in for over 5 years. Join USS NIMITZ (CVN68) and check out CARRIER Families!. What is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty)? There may be a group for that as well.
