Welcome to NavyforMoms.com.  My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012.  He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron.  He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic.  I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.  My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)

If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp.  I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)
Welcome Aboard and I wish your Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.

Hi, I see that you have a recruit at the RTC; join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in June, to connect with others with loved ones who left the same day and may have PIR together. I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), Once you know your SR’s PIR date and/or division number, watch in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and join the group for that once it has been created. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups. The Page, Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening, but you will also want to check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the members) in all groups you join. You may also want to check out Women in the Navy, Mom’s of Navy Daughters, and Mom's of Daughters 2. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
