I have been married now for over a year and a half. This is my first time away from my husband as he is in bootcamp. This is all new and scary. I joined this group because i was sick of people who dont know what im going through trying to give me advice. So far this is the best site out there that has helped me!

When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Dont take your husband for granted. You will miss everything about him when he is in bootcamp or deployed. Even the fights! Cherish every second with them because the next day he may have to leave!
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi, wanted to welcome you to the AECF group. We have a "wives club" in the group just look at the threads at the top of the page and there will be some great info there about GL and living there, also a chance for you to meet with other wives that live there.
Although his school might be seven months long, most students are there a year (give or take a few months) because of the holds/waiting to class up but as long as you are together that is all that matters! We have an active group, stop in often with your questions or concerns.
Have you gotten your first letter yet - it's so much better once that arrives!
