Hi Theresa - thanks for the friend request; how did you find me?  I think we both have SECF son's.  My son graduated RTC on 12/17 and is just nicely settled in his room and preparing to begin BESS Monday, 1/3.  He loves Groton thus far; his room overlooks the river and can see the subs in the water.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Good luck to you on the surgery.  I had that done a few years ago and it was ... a piece of cake.  Out patient surgery and a few days of rest, I was back to work by the end of the week.

Fingers crossed that you will come home to your first letter!

Hi "Theresa," and welcome to Indiana Moms! I'm the administrator for the group, so if you have any questions, please ask. My son is a Nuke MM serving on the submarine ALABAMA, based out of Bangor, WA. He's been in for 4 years.

If you're near Indy (or willling to drive), there's a monthly informal dinner on the west side of town, in Avon. You can find any month's dinner details by clicking on the 3rd Monday of the Event calendar (right-hand column). We'd love you to join us - and you're welcome to bring family or friends! From time to time, we also have regional gatherings in various parts of the state.

Jump in with any questions or comments you may have. I think you'll find we're a nice bunch of folks and always willing to lend an ear for listening or a shoulder to cry on. Hugs! k.
