I'm 37 year old mother and my son is shipping out in February, I joined the site for information to help me understand more about everything and moral support.My husband and I have been together for almost 22 years and were very proud of our son, being that we raised a wonderful young man at a the young age we were when we had him. We also have a younger son after as well they are 12 years apart.

Join the group, DEP-Leavin' for Boot Camp in February. You will meet others with loved ones leaving that day/week who may be in the same TG and have PIR together. Be sure to check out the discussion, Things to Do in the Last Month before Your Future Sailor Leaves for.... I also suggest you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and begin checking out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions there.
