    Thanks for the friend request. My son finished his 5 year commitment to the Navy last year. He was able to find a job within one month of leaving the Navy. Your son Navy experience will do the same for him, if he decides to leave. Of course, making Navy a life-long career would have been OK with us too. I noticed that your son is going to be a Aviation Mechanic. We went to Pensacola back in '07 - you are going to be sooooo impressed by the young men and women that you'll see. They all looked like they are having the time of their lives. They all walk with a purposeful stride, with smiles on their faces. They loved like they loved what they were doing.  I envy you - you are just at the beginning of your journey.
