Welcome to NavyforMoms.com. My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012. He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron. He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic. I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)

It is a very emotional journey...that is for sure...I wish your son the very best...:) Have him read the navy boot camp day by day page on my site, it will give him and you a little insight on what to expect. I also have one for PIR weekend, it may come in useful....:)
