- My son is in RTC now, so I have learned how organized and well-run the Navy is. They have gotten my son to do things that I couldn't such as write letters, make is bed and shine shoes.

Join PIR 11/27/2013 TG 03 -13 Divisions (021-030, 803, 804, and 903) to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there.
He will have daytime Liberty (not Leave) Thanksgiving Day and if he stays in GL for "A" School, he will have daytime Liberty each day of the long weekend. Since you live that close, you will be able to take him home while he is on Liberty (he must remain within 50 miles of the RTC/TSC). What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend.

Join AECF - FCs and ETs. Your SR will discover his rating while in BC, usually near the end of BC. "A" School is in GL, so you will also want to join Great Lakes A School Q&A and GL A-school moms.
