Thanks for the friend request!  Is your son staying in GC for proto or going to BS?  Mine has been in BS since beginning of January - waiting for classes to start.

On a side note - my mom is from Osage, Iowa!

My son is an MM.  While he is on hold they still report in to the reactor site.  This week he's on mids (2245 to 0800) for 7 days straight.  Last week he was on a swing shift....it rotates.  His class start date keeps changing (due to reactor issues)....He thought it was going to be 3/17 but now maybe in April.  We are trying to plan a trip to NY to visit so it's kind of difficult to figure out when.  He called me this morning when he got off work and we had a really nice chat - narrowed down a couple of different weekends to try for our visit - now if I can get everything set up it just might work!  He's actually enjoying NY and even adjusting to the weather!  He said it was 35* while we were talking and he was outside in jeans & a t-shirt!.  It's 60* here and I'm inside my office with a jacket and a scarf on LOL!

thanks for the friend request Michelle/ET ... i am so trying to figure out how to communicate directly on this site.  i requested updates but i do not get notification that another user has responded directly to me ...ugh  ...my son is an MM awaiting assignment for prototype. looking forward to virtually meeting other Mom's or wives interesed in sharing.
