I am a proud mother of two daughters, one attends college and the other just shipped off to boot camp. I am so proud of my daughter, but did not realize how heart-wrenching this separtion for me would be. I think the worst part has been the total loss on contact, which leaves me as a mom wondering if she's okay, is she cold, is she scared... all normal Mom feelings i'm sure.
Thanks! So glad to hear that you got a phone call, I would prefer a call but will take whatever comes. Seems like all the SRs comment on how good the food was (guess they were expecting it to be awful or something). Yeah, I'm sure both our daughter's should have plenty to read now that they are able to send/receive mail. I send something out every other day & sometimes there is 2 things (card,letter..etc etc.). Its a little annoying to spend the day watching for mailman & always keeping the phone in hand, but I do what I must..LOL.
Here is snippet from my daughter's letter concerning time limits: 5 min. shower, 5 min. to go to head after Chow, 12 min to make racks, 2 min to clean the compartment, & 12 min to eat Chow: Its' Crazy she says..LOL.
Can't wait to meet you in January 45 more days...:)
Sorry, I've been so busy have been having some very emotional & difficult family matters to attend to which still have not be solved. I will however still be attending the graduation, although my husband can't, so our other daughter will be going in his place. As far as the ribbons go...no I haven't ordered any, thinking if I get time I might make my own. Hope all is going well your way & yes getting so excited for graduation...12 More Days....Hoooorrrrahhhh!!! :)
