The Navy offers opportunities that...: I am till new but my daughter is now a sailor. i put that she is enlisted but to be honest dont know if that is correct. i will return and change as i learn more

Barb, it is very easy to get from Midway to Great Lakes on public transportation and shouldn't cost over about 10-15 dollars, at most. Take the Orange Line from Midway to downtown Chicago. Get off at Wells Street and walk about 1/3 mile to the Northwestern Train Station. A metra train to Great Lakes will take about an hour and five minutes. Total cost is $10 to make the trip.
